Kristen is deeply committed to the mission of the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), which seeks to enrich the graduate and professional student experience academically, professionally, and socially.
In addition to representing the College of Arts and Sciences in the GPSA, Kristen also directs the University and Student Affairs arm of the organization.
Kristen is pursuing a doctoral degree in physical chemistry. Her research seeks a better understanding of molecular self-assembly at the solution-solid interface. These processes will be important for the next generations of LEDs, solar cells, and chemical sensors.
A native of Duluth, Minnesota, Kristen enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest in her free time.
